Carmax care warranty

I can see myself getting to the same position as I bought a 2017 Ford Explorer 2 1/2 years ago. The engine went out on it seven months later. Maxcare has saved me a lot of money over the last 2 1/2 years from that and all the repairs afterwards. I've put in about $3000 but max care is put in about $11,000.
