Dec 9, 2023 · Tegna took that authorization away from DirecTV, so as a DirecTV customer you may not watch it until Tegna gives it back. This situation happens with every TV provider. They don't own the channels but have carriage agreements. Local affiliate owners like Tegna are more often pulling the feed in recent years.

Given that several people have the exact same issue, seems like a DirecTV issue. I spent an hour, 30 minutes on hold and 30 with a person. Saying that the "broadcast provider" has restricted the content doesn't change to fact that it's DirecTV Streams contract that is blocking this. I could go through a different content provider and not be blocked.
