Most of the dolphin reports continue to come in 800-1300' of water. Best action has been around floating debris or well formed weedlines out deep; and not as much out in open water. OFFSHORE- The southeast wind this weekend should help to stir up the dolphin fishing. 200-400' of water should produce some good dolphin catches this weekend. Trolling naked ballyhoo, squid, or bonita strips is a good way to raise some dolphin, as is … The Juno Beach Pier has been producing a fair number of bluefish, a few pompano, scattered Spanish Mackerel, some kingfish, and plenty of blacktip sharks. Fishing from the surf was a bit slower this week, but pompano reports north of Jupiter Inlet have started to improve (still a bit spotty south of Jupiter). A fair number of dolphin around last weekend before conditions deteriorated. Sailfish action also was pretty consistent. Snapper reports also remained strong before the wind set ... The Juno Beach Pier has been holding a fair number of whiting and croaker this week. Small pieces of fresh shrimp are the top bait choice for both. Calm conditions early in the week provided a good window for catching sharks on topwater plugs; although conditions for that have gone away later in the week.
