Kimber custom ii 10mm problems

This is true. On a Glock 29 a 21 to 23 pound spring is perfect for my reloads I prefer the 23 for hot loads and 21 for the rest of my handloads. On a 1911 the spring weight for the hammer (main spring) and recoil spring can be increased. I am still waiting for springs in the mail. ill update best combo for my Eclipse II 10mm.

Kimber 1911 Custom II failure to feed. New Kimber .45 ACP. Very accurate and comfortable to shoot BUT fails to feed about 1/3 of the time. About 250 rounds through it so far. All quality factory ammo. Owners manual says allow 500 rounds for break in. Seems to me that this is excessive failure to feed even for a new gun.I've had a Kimber Stainless Target II for about 15 years, and the only problems I've ever had were from weak (under 1100fps) 10mm loads. They don't always fully cycle the slide, and tend to fail to feed.
