I've had this idea rattling around my head about engine swapping my Benz with a M104, LS, maybe a K20/24, or really any engine that can be possible. Right now the engine I want to know is the M104 engine. The rack is manual but very easy to steer, even while stationary due to the gearing and the large steering wheel. (also eliminates need for power steering pump on the engine) There are 2 universal joints and a DD shaft, which is what comes off the wheel in these cars from the factory.
