Verizon can make calls but not receive

NO phone calls in but I can make phone calls from the phone. To be honest, this is getting a bit maddening, especially when it takes 2 hours to supposedly resolve the situation only to be told to call someone else. And now I cannot even call the person at Verizon in charge of port requests because the number was lost in the ethernet.

Upon initiating or answering a call, I get the three pitch sequence that indicates the beginning of the call, but then there is no ring tone or any audio at all. Outgoing calls will connect, as tested with a second cell phone, but have the same issue.
