Dec 30, 2023 · The EG-1 with CORE burrs will do an ok job with pourover but don't expect something great. If you do 70% pourover you want the Ultra burrs as they're superb in pourover. The Ultra burrs can also do espresso pretty well but everything is high clarity which doesn't work well with all origins.

The build on the EG-1 is very satisfying. The usability/workflow of the M4 is better. I had trouble feeding some beans on the EG-1. But I also have that trouble now and then with my MAX.
