To zero your Z1 start by removing the wood insert. Loosen the knob 1-2 full turns to ensure the burrs are not already touching. Start tightening the knob to get the burrs closer to each other. Stop tightening when you hear the first chirp and turn off the Z1. Prolonged running, while the burrs are touching, may wear them out prematurely
